NTC showcases its growing ophthalmology pipeline at CPhI Frankfurt 2025
Frankfurt, 28 October 2025 – NTC, an R&D-driven pharmaceutical company specializing in ophthalmology, is presenting its expanding pipeline and strategic vision at CPhI Frankfurt 2025, reaffirming its commitment to advancing eye health through innovation, science, and strategic partnerships.
Flagship innovations include its fixed-dose combination eye drop—containing an anti-inflammatory steroid and a quinolone antibiotic for the prevention and treatment of inflammation and infection following cataract surgery in adults—now expected to reach 90 markets worldwide. Alongside this success, breakthrough candidates such as NTC014, an innovative post-cataract treatment targeting infection and inflammation with a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) instead of a steroid, underscore the company’s ambition to shape the next frontier of eye care.
“Our vision is clear: we want to set a new benchmark in ophthalmology by bringing meaningful innovation to patients and partners worldwide,” said Marcello Selvaggio, Head of BU Ophtha at NTC, speaking from CPhI in Frankfurt. “Here at CPhI, we are strengthening dialogue with current and future partners and showcasing a pipeline that is rich, concrete, and ready to generate value: from the Imperial product line for dry eye—offering partners a multidose preservative-free system that combines the benefits of the main existing technologies in one solution—to our unique ointments and gels designed to provide long-lasting relief and protection.”
The Imperial line combines cutting-edge ophthalmic technology with a strong commitment to sustainability: for every Imperial bottle sold, NTC will collect an equivalent weight of plastic from the ocean.
Over the coming days at CPhI, NTC will share updates on its clinical advancements, MDR-approved devices, and licensing opportunities—reinforcing its mission to be the partner of choice in ophthalmology across global markets.
